  3. While this program was written specifically for use in connecting
  4. to Penn State's authenticated Internet connection services, others 
  5. may find it useful for their particular SLIP or PPP provider.

  9. You will need to modify the LOGIN.ORI file.  It is a "skeleton" 
  10. script used to generate the LOGIN.CMD.  Values for the chosen 
  11. saved entry are substituted for the "bracketed" strings, such 
  12. as "<ModemSetup1>" and "<userid>".

  14. Note that <ModemSetup> is synonymous with <Modemsetup1>.

  17. FTP Software's PC/TCP
  18.  
  19. For PC/TCP the setup is not so flexible.  The command finally issued
  20. is:
  21.                 COMSCRPT.PIF BELL DIALUP
  22.  
  23. So the host name is BELL and the script named is DIALUP.  These have
  24. to be specified in the PCTTCP.INI.  The skeleton script is dialbell.ori, 
  25. and PSUDial creates a dialbell.scr.  We've given up on PC/TCP for 
  26. asynchronous connections, so we are not likely to make this part easier
  27. for others to use.
